Dolce and Gabbana BagsIt's not easy to circumscribe Dolce and Gabbana® or Dolce and Gabbana Bags within a definition. Typical for D & G is a world made up of culture, sensations, traditions and a Mediterranean nature. But I must admit that although Dolce and Gabbana are one of my personal favorite fashion designers I personally don’t like their bags. Read here why. A trademark known worldwideBased on their surnames Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have made a trademark which is known worldwide. Thanks to its great versitility and glamour it is not difficult at all to recognize. Maybe that’s exactly what I don’t like with the bags.I hate wallpapered DG bagsI ban anything with an obtrusive manufacturer's logo on it. There is in my opinion nothing more crass in fashion than those Dolce and Gabbana bags wallpapered with the interlocking "DGs." (By the way the same is true for the Louis Vuitton "LV" patterns.) "Oh, look! Have you seen my bag - it's a Dolce & Gabbana, very expensive, don't you know." The following one however is an exception... Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have both the desire to express and communicate an extreme and very personal taste, much of it being inspired by the Sicilian origins of Dolce.Clothing linesDolce & Gabbana presents two central lines for adults: D&G and Dolce & Gabbana. D&G generally is based on more casual lines with a bit cheaper price tags and follows an urban, trend-setting style. Dolce & Gabbana concentrates on luxury materials and is more expensive than D&G.Madonna's favorite designerBy the way, D&G have become two of Madonna's favorite fashion designers, something that certainly helped their brand poularity. They created many costumes exclusively for her world tours. They have designed clothes also for Monica Bellucci, Isabella Rossellini and Kylie Minogue amongst other Hollywood celebreties.Bright FutureToday the future is bright, for the Dolce & Gabbana firm.
