Best Pasta Sauce Recipes
I’ve decided to share here some pasta sauce recipes I have collected and made over the years. The following recipes are my all time favorite recipes for italian pasta sauces.
It’s a great collection for anyone who wants expand his italian recipe collection. And it’s of course perfect if you need a simple and quick pasta sauce as gift surprise for your beloved.
All of the following delicious pasta sauce recipes can be cooked in a few minutes.
Quick & Easy Pasta Sauce Recipe: Pasta Napoli
Ingredients:
- 1 can (28 oz size) crushed Tomatoes
- 1/2 cup Onion, Finely Chopped
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
Directions:
Place a large heavy pan over moderate heat and add the oil. Then put in garlic, onion and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, then add crushed tomatoes. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring from time to time for 10 minutes.
Season with salt and your favorite chopped fresh herb ( fresh oregano, basil or fresh coriander).
Special Tip: Use fresh herbs to give this recipe its special quality and flavor. Serve over pasta and a salad on the side. In Italy garlic bread is served too.
This recipe for 15 Minute Pasta Sauce serves/makes 3.5 cups.
Quick and Easy Arrabiata Sauce
One can tomatoes (400 g/14-15 oz.)
2 garlic cloves
Red pepper flakes
1 tbsp Olive oil
Parsley
Spaghetti, for four
In a large pan saute the whole garlic and the red pepper flakes in olive oil. Take away the garlic as soon as it gets golden
in color, then add the tomaoes and let the sauce thicken. Cook
spaghetti then put them in the pan and fry for some minutes. Serve sprinkled with parsley - finely chopped.
Quick and Easy Carbonara Sauce
1/4 pound pancetta or unsmoked bacon, diced
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper, to taste
4 servings cooked pasta (long and flat), or more
Cook pancetta in oil or butter until crisp. Mix in a small bowl cheese, eggs,
salt and pepper.
Mix hot pasta with hot pancetta and its fat. Add cheese and egg
mixture. Toss well until egg is cooked to desired consistency.
Serve at once with more Parmesan cheese and black pepper.
As variation you can add a small chopped onion when you cook the pancetta
or use onion instead of pancetta.
